Stab death probed

Detectives were today investigating after a man was found stabbed to death at a Bradford house.

Police were called to an address in Bradford Moor shortly before 1am. They found a man in his 30s suffering from stab wounds.

Paramedics were called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not yet been named by police to allow relatives to be informed of his death.

Today, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed that the man's death was being treated as suspicious.

The investigation is being led by Detective Superintendent Allan Doherty.

Detectives, scenes of crime and forensic experts were at the address today gathering evidence for the inquiry.

"Police were called to an address in the Bradford Moor area shortly before 1am," said the police spokesman.

"Officers attended to find a man in his thirties suffering from his injuries. Paramedics attended and the man was found to be dead at the scene."

An 18-year-old woman was today being held in police custody in connection with the incident.
