Last week was a quiet one for Bradford companies, with very little news or dramatic price swings. However, the wider market saw a flurry of bid activity that saw it rally over the week. Mobile telecoms company O2 agreed to a 200p/share offer from Spain's Telefonica, while glass maker Pilkington rejected a 150p offer from Japan's Nippon Sheet Glass, which already owns 20 per cent of the company.
