Littlewood is to The Manor born

Calverley professional Danny Littlewood won the latest Bradford Union Winter Alliance competition at The Manor.

His stableford total of 37 points was enough to pip runner-up Andy Rhodes, from Keighley, by two.

Host club pair Mark Weighman (two handicap) and Richard Mills (11) made the most of home

advantage to win the betterball contest with 45 points.

They finished one clear of Hollins Hall duo Graham Town (9) and Graham Young (18).

The next Alliance event is at Calverley on Wednesday.
