Stroll to work raises £1,400

A health care assistant from Baildon raised £1,427 for Comic Relief with a walk to work.

Joanne Ballantyne walked six miles from Baildon to her workplace, Hollybrook Place in Greengates, in fancy dress.

She raised the money from passing motorists and pedestrians.

Joanne said: "I would really like to thank everybody who donated money."
