Wartime play plea

A Skipton playwright hopes to draw on the anecdotes of local people to help him with a production called Phantom of the Skies.

Thomas Aldersley, who runs Sheep Town Theatre Company, is about to embark on rehearsals for his latest play.

The production is inspired by the reported sightings of ghost World War Two aircrafts flying over the skies of Craven in the past five years.

Mr Aldersley said he would like to hear from anyone who had seen the phenomenon and then use their stories and testimonies in the play.
