Keighley's Wednesday Leisure Club has raised £300 for the Lord Mayor of Bradford's Appeal.

The group staged an open day at Our Lady of Victories Primary School, Guard House.

The event included bingo, a tombola, refreshments and a fair trade stall selling ethically produced goods such as tea, coffee and cake.

Organiser Barry Thorne said up to 70 people attended and they hoped to present the cash to the Lord Mayor next month.

Councillor Choudhary Rangzeb's appeal supports the Born in Bradford Project and the Bradford Sport and Recreation Association for People with Disabilities.
