New nursery opens

The Bradford-based Light of the World Gospel Hall has opened a baby nursery in its community centre, creating four new jobs.

The community centre already provides a range of activities for youngsters, including a cyber café, and youth, homework and luncheon clubs.

It was able to open the centre after receiving help and funding from through West Yorkshire Social Enterprise Link.

Project manager Anne Nelson said: "We'd heard of the help Business Link, and in turn Social Enteprise Link, could provide for start-up businesses, so we contacted them to discuss our proposal."
