Lunch celebrations

A community centre at Woodhouse and Spring Bank is holding an open day to mark the renaming of its over-50s luncheon club.

The Healthy Hainworth drop-in will be held on Tuesday, April 3, at the same time as the newly-titled Dining And Recreational Tuesday sessions.

Attractions include blood pressure checks, fire safety advice, men's health, exercise, alternative health and healthy lunches and recipes.

There will also be a children's corner and Neighbourhood Watch advice during the 10am to 2pm event at the Hainworth Wood Centre.

Admission is £1.50 including lunch and drinks. Accompanied children are free.
