Tennis centre set to open

Skipton Tennis Centre will be opening its doors to the public for the first time next weekend.

The £100,000 development is nearing completion and the courts should be ready to use within the next few days.

The former Skipton Lawn Tennis Club folded due to a lack of members, but tennis coach Adam Cox, who has spearheaded the project, said he hoped the new facility would be well used.
