Zouk's the best!

Zouk Bar and Grill has been named as the Best New Business of the Year.

The restaurant, which only opened six months ago on Leeds Road, Thornbury, was honoured at the minority ethnic enterprise network, ABDN's annual business awards.

The restaurant defeated competition from all over West Yorkshire to take the title, something owner Peter Bashir hailed as being "absolutely superb".

Judges were impressed with the restaurant's clear business strategy and vision for its future.
