Park spruced up by clean team

The Clean Sweep spruced up Bowling Park at the weekend as part of Bradford Council's latest campaign to clean up the district.

Friends of Bowling Park were supported by the Council's Environmental Task Force on litter-picking, tidying, graffiti removal and improving the playground area duties.

The Clean Sweep will see environmental activity throughout the year in the areas of the district that are in need of improvement. Ray Bage, chairman of the Friends of Bowling Park, said: "We would like to see Bowling Park safer, cleaner and greener."
