Park appeal

A village park needs sprucing up in time to celebrate its 200 anniversary and youngsters are being urged to lend a hand. The Friends of Holden Park, Oakworth, are to hold special events in the park in 2007 to mark the bi-centenary of the birth of village benefactor Isaac Holden.
