Funds shared out

From the archive, first published Wednesday 7th Mar 2007.

Three primary schools have gained from the demise of South Craven Action Group, which has not been active for about ten years. Funds totalling £130 are being distributed between the two primary schools in Sutton and the one in Glusburn, near Skipton.

The action group was set up in 1990 to protect countryside from being swallowed up by a Glusburn bypass, which in 1997 was removed from the Craven Local Plan.
