Blaze fear at city centre hotel

Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the Hilton Hotel on Hall Ings, Bradford at 5.15pm today after a fire broke out on an upper floor. Staff and guests were evacuated. A spokesman confirmed that they had received a report of a fire on either the fourth or sixth floor of the Hilton after smoke was discovered. He said he did not believe the incident to be serious but that those in the building had been evacuated as a precaution. The cause of the fire is not known.
