Man ordered to stay away

A 31-year-old man has been ordered to stay away from Skipton as part of his bail conditions.

Shazad Mohammed Sarwar, who is charged with harassment, appeared before Skipton magistrates on Friday.

The case was adjourned for three weeks and Sarwar, of Victoria Avenue, Keighley, was ordered not to enter Skipton unless attending court or meeting with his solicitor.

He was also ordered not to contact his alleged victim or any members of her family.
