Witness appeal after moped smash

Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old moped rider was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a white Iveco tipper lorry in Reevy Crescent, Buttershaw, Bradford.

The youth, who has not been named, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which occurred at 6.55pm on Saturday, to contact PC Robert Hoyle at the Bradford South helpdesk on (01274) 376349.
