Repair service acquired

Link Telecom has added a Nokia-accredited repair service to its Angel mobile phones shop at Odsal Top, Bradford.

The new facility expands the chain of repair shops already run by the company in Keighley, Leeds and Scarborough.

Technical services manager Johann Shepherd said the new centre plugged a gap in Link Telecom's West Yorkshire repair service provision.

He said: "We realised there was no accredited repair service for phone owners in Bradford and responded to the demand. We only use original parts and employ skilled engineers."

Heading up the new centre is service manager Howard Buckle, who spent nine years as an engineer at Link Telecom's Radiophone Services repair centre in Leeds.

Link Telecom, which bought the Angel business last year, now runs 14 retail outlets in West and North Yorkshire.
