The far-right British National Party is launching an assault to wrest Keighley seats from the "big guns" at next month's council elections.
The party is fielding candidates in Keighley East and West and Worth Valley wards and at Bingley Rural, which includes Cullingworth and Denholme.
Among those standing is Rose Thompson, who was sacked as Keighley mayoress in March last year after joining the BNP.
She will attempt to win the Keighley East seat being defended by Tory Dorothy Clamp.
In Keighley West, the Labour seat occupied by former Lord Mayor Irene Ellison-Wood - who last year announced she would be retiring at these elections after 17 years as a councillor - will be defended by Sandra Elizabeth Haigh.
The BNP's John Joy will repeat his attempt of last year to win in the Worth Valley, where Tory Peter Hill is defending his seat.
And Simon Cooke and Michael Kelly are striving to retain for the Tories their respective Bingley Rural and Craven posts.
Meanwhile Mark Taylor will attempt to retain for Labour the Keighley Central seat from which Lynne Joyce - who has represented the ward since 2004 - was controversially dumped by the party.
In total, one third of the 90 seats on Bradford Council will be contested at the May 3 polls. At present Labour has 37 councillors, the Tories 33, Liberal Democrats 12, Greens four and BNP two, and there are two Independents.
The full list of candidates locally is:

Parish and town council elections are also being held on May 3.
Nine of the 15 Keighley Town Council wards are set to be contested. In the remainder there are fewer candidates than seats so no election will take place.
The only other local town or parish council where a contest is due to go ahead is Silsden's Inner ward.
But all candidates have until noon on Wednesday to withdraw nominations, which could in some instances negate the need for a contest.
