Spate of arson attacks

Firefighters have had to deal with a spate of arson attacks on vehicles across Bradford.

Fire crews at Odsal and Bradford received six call- outs in the space of a few hours.

A Mercedes-Benz truck was destroyed in Webster Place, Barkerend, and a motorcycle was destroyed in the Burneston Gardens area of Buttershaw.

A suspected stolen Vauxhall van was burned out in a field near Wolston Close, Holme Wood, and three vehicles were attacked within the space of 40 minutes in West Bowling.

Elsewhere, a car was destroyed in Clipstone Street, a quad bike was destroyed in Murdstone Close, and a lorry trailer was damaged in Collingham Avenue.
